Great views from the rooms and beautiful landscapes surrounding the hotel. The breakfast was delicious and had a decent variety of foods. Enjoyed the peaceful remote location of the hotel, which was perfect for a city break. Also, the hotel staff was very polite and welcoming during our stay.
The rooms were outdated and we encountered some issues with the shower. The hotel did not offer many amenities or activities, leaving us with not much to do during our free time. We felt isolated in the hotel since it was located quite far from the city center and other attractions. we did not feel like we got our money's worth during our stay.

The suite was absolutely beautiful. Very spacious and well furnished. A lot of original art. The evening meals were wonderful. Our server was so gracious. We told him to bring us whatever food he would enjoy eating. He did not disappoint. Reception was very helpful. Given the hotel is rather remote, I was pleasantly surprised with the level of English the staff spoke. A wonderful surprise at the end of a three week trip.
I thought it odd that the big screen TV in the dining room was on every evening as if it was our entertainment.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The rooms at this hotel are better than many 4-star hotels I've stayed in around the world. The hotel owner, Franco, goes above and beyond to make sure his customers are happy. The hotel is in a perfect location for exploring the stunning Abruzzo National Park.

The breakfast buffet was decent with a variety of options to choose from. The hotel rooms were clean and had comfortable beds. The location was good for exploring the national parks and nearby towns.
The staff could have been more welcoming and friendly. The swimming pool area was not well-maintained and the chairs were uncomfortable.
